I am a totally fickle/light sleeper. To be fair, I am way, way, way better than I was as a teenager. So at least now I can sleep with the light from the alarm clock or from underneath the door. And the sound of breathing doesn’t keep me up anymore either.
But one of the my biggest problems is the covers. Having to share them with someone else only makes it worse! One of the first modifications we made to help this little problem is that our covers go the opposite way they should. The long side goes across the short side of the matress and vice versa so that we both have plenty. Genius right?
Here’s what bugs me though. It’s the whole tent effect that happens when two people are sharing the same covers. If you are both laying on your sides and the covers get pulled taught between you, it’s like having El Nino rushing down your back all night. You might as well not have any covers at all on that side! Ryan thinks I am nuts (lovingly, I am sure).
I can’t possibly be the only person who doesn’t like this!

Hmmm… have you tried a bigger comforter? Like king size if you have a queen bed? Then, maybe it would drape down far enough to touch the bed?
Tough one! I have very little trouble sleeping, so I don’t have any good ideas. I’m sorry!
Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?
Awesome blog!
I thought about starting my own blog too but I’m just too lazy so, I guess I‘ll just have to keep checking yours out.
LOL,
I sleep with a little blanket (you probably know the one!) under the covers, so Adam can steal all the covers he wants and I still stay warm! In the winter, Adam will sleep with his own smaller blanket too because I don’t like the extra layer on top of my little blanket and the comforter.
